A START-UP WITH 400 YEARS OF TRADITION

The DuMont media company has been in existence for more than four centuries. Unfortunately, its 400th anniversary could not be properly celebrated because of the pandemic. But DuMont decided to see this as an opportunity. One year later, we developed Initiative #401 together and honoured over 400 years of company tradition while underlining the art of reinventing oneself again and again, to always look ahead. This is what the number 1 stands for.

“Please, no typical corporate anniversary ceremony.” That was our briefing for DuMont’s 401st anniversary celebration. After six months of preparations and three intense days of rehearsal, not only was a perfectly timed 120-minute program in place, but also our crew of more than 40 people. The curtain fell exactly 124 minutes later, giving way to a lively after-show party.
